Dining out guide?

I am going to Mom's this weekend and she does not cook, we dine out all the time.  My question is,  Does anyone have a website where you can check the PROTEIN values of some of the entrees in popular places.  Also, does anyone know which places list the protein values in their meals?  I know Applebees does WW points, but I'd like to suggest a place that I know has something good for me ahead of time. Thanks, Nancy

Wow, that's a great site.  I really like the nutrition label format.  Many of the resturants have nutritional information on their websites, but some are more elaborate than others. THanks for sharing it Myrtis.   Alice

Myrtis!  This site is the bomb!  I have bookmarked it, and e-mailed it to a bunch of non-OH friends!  Will definitely come in handy.  Thanks!

A lot of resturants now have nutritional information on their website.  Stick to grilled chicken, fish and lean meats... that will get you your protein. You can pretty much gage the protein yourself by looking at the serving size of the meal.

Nanc,  I hope you have a great time visiting your Mom!  My Mom cooks and cooks very well, it's hard for me when I eat with them because she cooks very "southern", fried, gravy, fat fat fat!  I am soooo looking forward to moving!   Anyway, have a great time!!!

Thanks Myrtis!  I love it and have it in my fav's!  My Mom used to cook but now they just prefer to go out, and she's recovering from a knee replacement so it'll be takeout probably.  That's quite alright, Mom's cooking is sooooo bland.  I am going to buy her about 20 lbs. of shrimp and take it up there for shrimp ****tails!  They are always awestruck with how good the shrimp I bring is, lmao.  Myrtis, I'm still looking into when that craft fair is- I cant wait! Nancy
