Galbladder question

What does a gallbladder attack feel like?

labor... really it does.  It is the equivelant of a foot cramp all the way across your lower abdomen.  Hard to breathe, hard to talk...  excruciating pain.....  and then it just goes away

felt more like a heart attack for me. would get pains in my chest all the way thru my back. would feel sick to my stomach and several times i ended up throwing up. i had attacks all thru out my first pregnancy and actually ended up in the hospital 2 weeks before my son was born because i had an attack so bad i was throwing up blood. 7 weeks after he was born i had it removed.

I never had an "attack" like the others here have described.  It was more like a pressure in my chest that would last for days.  I would belch and belch, then all of a sudden it would go away.  I am thankful that I never had a labor-like one as described above!  Whew! Are you having problems with yours?  Mine was taken out at surgery because it was full of rocks.  Take care. Ellen

Yes, I am having chest pains on my left side and feel like I have to burp all the time. My hubby said it's indigestion, but won't go away. And my lower tummy is sore, not any pain really.                                                          Tiffany

That's what mine felt like exactly.  The spot where the pain emanated from varied.  After they took out my gall bladder, I haven't had the sensation since.  Let us know what your doctor says, it's good to learn. :) Good luck. Ellen

I had severe pain in my abdomen that lasted a few hours with a fever.  This happened on a regular basis and was 100% worse than gas pains.  It was equal I'd say to very intense labor pains, but lasted a lot longer.  Hope this helps!  I'd sure check it out with the doc, better safe than sorry! Thank you so much for the reply. I feel as if mine is a bad case of indigistion and won't go away. It'll subside for a little bit and start again. I'll probaly call the dr. just be sure.
