DS Question

I am curious how many on this forum has had the DS and if they are having any ill effects short or long term???????  Any weight gain with your DS?????? Any intestional issues 3 or more years post op???????????I am information gathering and am here in NC renovating our home and this is the first time on the NC forum. \Thanks so much to all Jennifer

Thanks for the greeting~!!!!!!!!!! :) A DS is a doudenal switch. It is another surgery performed other than RNY. It hasnt beed around as long as the RNY so it sint as known. I actually was going for the RNY but someone told me about it and now I am having the DS done instead. Check out the forums and see the DS. There is lots of info there to explain it. I was just hoping to get as much input fro others. Hopefully, there are a few that can give some of their insight. :) Jennifer
