First I want to thank everyone *****sponded to my post that I got my surgery date. You all have made getting through this much easier. I got my time for Oct. 19 and my surgery is scheduled for 12pm. That should be lucky for me because I went in for my C-section that same time 4 years ago. The scared feeling has left and the excitement has kicked in...I can't hardly wait. I have a question for you. How often would you say the staff updates the task list? I just finished all prelim tests and the MD has to review my chart before sending it off. What ins do you have and how long did it take for approval? I know Dr's Bauman and Pirrello are not one and the same but they might practice similar. I just am a bit anxious about submittal, and such. Any advice?
It does take them awhile to update the task list. My info was sent to the insurance back in july and my task list was just updated when I faxed them my appeal approval. I have emailed them asking if they received something that should be checked off and by the next day it was. I have BCBSNC and I received my denial within 3 days after my stuff was submitted. I had my final appt which was like at the end of may beginning of june and they submitted my file the beginning of july. I know it's hard but be patient, all your ducks will soon be in a row.
