It's so good to see this board hopping again.  It waxes and waines so frequently depending on whose having surgery and where they are in their journey.  I am the first to admit, I'm not good about posting and keeping up with the others, however, we do need each other.  Now matter what our status us.  WLS is what brings us together. Keep up the good work and keep this board hopping.  I've been on here since 2005 so I've been around a bit.  I don't mind sharing either, since I've been about 18 months post op, I've had some serious complications and I've moved half way across NC now. Keep up the friendship and sharing the love.  It deserves applauds..... Jen

Hey Jennifer, Hope everything is going good for you. I was on Vac. last week as you know.  I didn't know how close Jacksonville was to Top Sail . Next time I'll get a hold of  you also and we can  all meet. I hope all your complications are all better now. Yes, we do need to keep up the friendship and love.

George and I  really enjoyed You and Mare. I love your sense of humor. We were going over what we all talked about, Geo. and I started laughing again. People were looking at us like we were carzy. Well, yes we are. Reenie

Jen, Thanks for sharing.  Will you be able to make it to the beach weekend we are all planning for the weekend of Oct 4?  Would be a great opportunity for you to get connected with kindred spirits and of course we would love to welcome you to the neighborhood! Hope you can make it!

Jennifer -

I couldn't have said better myself. I sooo verrry much need and appreciate all of the support that I receive from this board. I was kind of nervous when everything slowed down so much over the past couple of months. I don't know that anyone who hasn't been here really knows what we are experiencing ... it's so important to be able ask questions, share experiences and support no matter where you are in your journey to finding a healthier you.

Thanks again for your post ...and all of your support.

Barb

Hey Ladies, Thanks for the messages back.  I'm sharing my lap top with my husband so I'm tortured with the desktop pc so I'll keep this short.   I don't know about the beach trip.  Since we live at the beach now it's hard to justify going to to the beach. Nancy - I cannot beleive how well you've done wiht your weightloss and no fill yet.  WOW!!! I'm slowly adjusting, I thought things would move a bit quicker and I've threatened to go back to Charlotte a few times, but overall it's getting better.  I could really use a break from this intense heat.  It's Autumn after all!!!! I wish I can say i did as well as everyone else but we each are individauls and our journeys are our own.  I fight the Hersey's Deamons still.   My pouch is alive and well and let's me know it. Is anyone driving down to the beach and coming back the same day?  I don't know if my husband will let me go away without him, its our anniversary that weekend too.  Plus, we seem to be strapped for funds, I'm sure you can relate.  I know the beach is cheap this time of year.  4 years ago we fell in love with Myrtle Beach during our anniversary trip and we've never changed our mind.  I prefer Myrtle Beach over Emerald Isle, but don't tell anyone.   Enjoy the new day. Hey Jen,

I'm sorry about your complications and hope you're doing well now!  I've been a member since 2005 but haven't been active until about 2 months ago.  I just love these people!  The support is priceless!!!  I see you're in the Jacksonville area also, we have been trying to get together once in a while, hopefully you'll be able to join us next time!  We'd love to meet you!

Thanks -  I PRAY hard that I do not have any more complications.  I'm too far from Concord to pop in and see dr bauman.  I should set up another dr but i'm reluctant. I could ride up with nancy sometime.  I miss charlotte alot.  Jacksonville just isn't the same. I'd love to get out sometime.  I live in the sitx but I have a car and it has no limits.  Just let me know and I'll see where I can meet up.   I really am going through Kohl's withdrawl too.  and steak and shake. I look forward to meeting you gals. Jen
