Question for you "old timers" about Toast?

I forgot to ask my NUT yesterday about when I can try toast.  I got to add saltines and graham crackers now (divine) but I've been craving the crispy bite into a piece of toast.  I'm sure answers will be all over the place since what we're told by various NUTS and docs at the different stages are all over the place... but just wondering about TOAST!  I'm not going to cheat and have toast before my NUT says I can, just wanted to "poll" y'all about this.

I beleive at 4 weeks it was ok for me to have toast, howeve it hurt my pouch badly. I can eat it now, but sometimes it's too heavy (that's all bread).

I just re-checked my NUT guide... and I could have toast starting at about week 10.  However.. bread is NOT my friend.  :)

Bread = 6 months for me, even toasted.

I have always done toast. I add a tad of butter and unsweet jelly....

I believe after 8 weeks I was allowed 'dry breads' - meaning toast/crackers... then I was allowed 'normal' breads at 3 months

OK, thanks.  I'll just keep enjoying the crackers for now.  I read on the main forum where folks don't do toast for 8,9 and even 12  months.  It never ceases to amaze me at the wide variations in what our NUTS and docs tell us!

Wendy I do great with crackers and croutons but still scarred to try any toast or regular bread. For now I avoid them.                                                       Annie
