LUNCH GET TOGETHER for J'ville and Wilm.

Hi Everyone- it seems quite a few folks are interesting in doing a Wilmington/Pender County/Jacksonville meet-up. How does this MONDAY Dec 31st at 1pm work? We can meet at the Sawmill Grill in Hampstead ( seems like a good 1/2 way point. The restaurant's address is 15919 HWY 17 Hampstead and phone number is 270-0056.) Sheryl is coming and if anyone wants to carpool with her, give her a call. This seems like a great way to end 2007 with the love and support of our OH friends and looking forward to a fabulous, thinner New Year. Hope everyone can come. Sheila, I will say 99% yes........nothing on the books that day- like I'm so busy, lol.  Never tried the Sawmill Grill.........gonna' look it up. If not this date, Tuesday and Wed. are ok too.  Can't wait till I see everyone again! Nancy Noodle

Hey Nancy- I think a lot of places MAY be closed on Tues for New's Years, so hopefully this date will work- I know this is close to Mare and a short drive for Suzanne, so we will see who's onboard. I have to call Sheryl in the morning to give her the specifics. See ya on Monday! Sheila

Too cool!  I will be there!  I will see Mare tomorrow and make sure she joins us!

Hmmmm.... I wonder how long it might take to drive down? Thinking about making the trek. My daughter has had the flu, so we'll have to see how things are going ... can we put me down as a maybe?

Hi Barb, Suzanne said it took her & Nancy about an hour & a half to get to the Raleigh get-together. Don't know how far that was from you, though. Hope you make it! xoxo Mare

Barbara - I think it's about 4 hours from Raleigh.  I know we drove from Charlotte to J'ville and it took 6 hours.  If I recall correclty Raleigh was about 2 hours from Charlotte.  You can always mapquest it. I would love to come and meet, but i don't have the resources right now.  I hope to meet up another time.  Please send me a message.  Things should be better in a few weeks/months/.  Jenn

I think it's a little more than 2 hours from my house ... As long as the health end holds up, I'm planning on making the drive.
