I am overweight now!

Well, I am finally just overweight now. Had my 6 month visit on the 2nd and got my labs back and everything looks good but was a tad low on Vitamin D so I have added an additional D to supplement. I also had a meeting with the NUT yesterday and that went well although I realized I need to eat more so I am working on that. I did a thrift store run today and bought some pants(they were all 1.50 per pair) and I got a pair of jeans in size 12 petites and I could get them on and zipped. They are wearable but snug...not used to fitted pants like that. 5 pounds would probably be better but I think I may just wear them to school tomorrow since we can wear jeans on Fridays. They will probably relax. I haven't worn a pair of jeans in 10 years when I had lost a ton of weight after my divorce. I had lost 85 pounds then, but started 22 pounds heavier this time around....lol. So I am still not as small as I was then. I got down to 8's at my lowest. I am a pear so I am curious to see where I will end up in the longrun here this time. I am feeling pretty good and hope to make it to my goal which is about 38 pounds away. Anyway, I have rambled on. Hope you guys are all great! Looking forward to seeing many of you on Sat. when I make the drive to Raleigh! Lisa

Hey Lisa!  It is great to hear your rambling....  Because it was about your size 12 jeans that cost $1.50!!!!   WOW....  I am so happy for you.  That is just great.  I'm glad all checked out with the 6 month visits.  You are doing soooo good!  Connie

I don't know which is more exciting...the size 12, or the fact that they cost 1.50!  :)  Actually, the most exciting is that you're just overweight!  Glad to hear your labs all came back good.  Sounds like a lot of people (even those without WLS) have Vitamin D deficiencies, so you're not alone there.  Good for you!  See you on Saturday!!!

I know it was exciting that they were only 1.50. I spent 30 something dollars on pants mainly, A Liz Claiborne purse and some pants for my daughter as well. Some may not fit but if they don't it ws 1.50. I can sell them and make that back if worse comes to worse. Hopefully the waether wikll hold out so I can make it tomorrow. Lisa

Thanks Jennifer: With the loss you are having, you  should be there soon. I am at work and the tickers don't read for some reason but I remember you have kicked butt in the weight loss department.
