FQOD (Fun Question of the Day) What's your FAVORITE....
Thin mints - my mom always bought several boxes and put at least one in the freezer that WAS NOT ALLOWED TO BE OPENED until Easter Sunday dinner.
My older sisters were Girl Scouts and so was I,as were my niece and now her daughter.
Favorite memories, three summers at Camp Rotary (at the base of Crowder's mountain) and then being one of the first campers to build and camp at Golden Valley near Forest City.
And I love the fact that you can now order cookies to be delivered to our troops over seas or at
VA hospitals. So we can support the Girl Scouts and our troops and not be tempted.
What a fun post Wendy!!! I was a Brownie and my mother was the troop leader. We used to sell cookies door to door (this is before all the child snatchers and serial killer days) and we would do things like tour Mcdonalds, go ice skating, horseback riding, summer camp and a trip to Disneyland every year!!! it was great fun!! I had my first grade photo taken with my Brownie uniform on :)

Being a former Girl Scout who pushed those wicked cookies, I have to give my vote fo the Samoas! I loved the combination of coconut, camamel and chocolate. I was also a girl scout leader when my daughter was little... man, those were some good cookies. Once in a Weigh****chers meeting the leader suggested putting them in the freezer and just thawing out a couple at a time,,,, yeah, right, have you tried a frozen thin mint? Pure Heaven!
Thanks Wendy!
