My Husband Finally has His First Appt W/Duke scheduled!

Many of you know that my husband has been in the process of trying to get into the program at Duke. Well today we got his packet with his appointment date. It's not until June 25th, but at least he's on the books. Between now and then he'll see about getting all of the testing done so that he should be good to go when he has that initial evaluation appointment with the dietician, psych and RNP. I'm hoping they'll be able to schedule him sometime this summer. We'll see.

Barb,      I am so excited for the both of us!! S.S. called me about 2:30 and said they had finished all my paperwork!! She said the receptionist would either call me this afternoon or first thing Monday morning to schedule my appt. She didn't call today so I am expecting a call Monday. I will post and let you know what happens!! I am almost ready to do my happy dance!!! Have a good weekend!!

Yeah Barb!  I know you guys have been wanting this for some time.  What a fabulous thing for you to be able to share together!  I'll keep praying that everything goes smoothly, although I know you have the know-how and strength to get over the bumps in the road!
