I was planning on going to lunch yesterday with y'all, but went to yard sales with my sister. We ended up in a neighborhood that had so many that before I knew it, it was past time for lunch. Got some good deals -- best deal was a Vera Bradley backpack (green apple, retired pattern) for only $3! And it's in great shape! My sister bought a nice couch & loveseat for her sitting area in her bedroom for only $50. It was a productive day of yard sales for us. I hope y'all had fun and found our thrift stores okay. Most of what I wear these days comes from Goodwill!
Yep, maybe next time I'll be off. I'm considering transferring to the post anesthesia care unit ("recovery room"), and they only have to work every 4th weekend on that unit so my weekends would be more free that way.
