Darcie, I've had a spinal tap and there are worse things.  The pain is not so terrible, but there is a feeling of pressure.  Just do exactly what they say, be STILL and it will be over fairly quickly.  The hard part is keeping quiet after the test.  I wanted to get up and go!!  But you will do just fine.   Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.  Keep us informed. Darcie, Pain is no fun but look at it this way once you have this done it is over. As far as worrying I would probally get a gold medal I am a worry wart for sure. One thing Lee has taught me is that worring will not change anything and just makes us more nervous. Not easy to just not worry but know this wont last forever. As for peeing POISE pads and I are best friends. Maybe looking into geting some pads.                                  Annie
