I started out on my journey wearing tight 30/32 and 4X pants, then I moved back to my old 26/28 pants and then they became way too big. I did it the other day and bought some 24's I didn;t want to get too excited so I was at ROSS and bought a few pairs for 8.99 each and got some shorts too. Well yesterday my BFF took me to Steinmart when we were at the promenade and I did some shopping, I still hvae a problem believeing that the 24s are going to fit me and yet they do. I figure that as I am not losing very fast I can buy a bit of summer stuff in 24 and it will last till the end of summer and then I can pass it off to others. I am so happy to be able to buy the real brands I used to buy not just Lane Bryant and AVENUE. I now have a choice..... Now that I have the smaller pants peolpe are realizing that I have lost a lot of weight , before it was hidden in the big pants......

So funny that you posted this-- I was just thinking today how I should post something similar.   Congrats on the smaller sizes, it's such a good feeling! I went to Walmart today and actually "shopped" in the clothing section. That is the first time I've really doen that since my surgery in Oct.  I mainly go to Ross as I usually can find stuff under $10.00 each and I am trying not to buy too much since I'm going through sizes so fast.  I bought a couple shirts at Wally world here and there, but haven't really looked around the plus size section in such a long time!  They didn't have sizes to fit me! I bought a pair of pants in a size 20!!!  I was even higher than size 32... I wore 34 in some points and even then SOME wouldn't fit me, so to wear a 20 was a BIG WOW... I was wearing 26/28 in high school. Anyway, I didn't want to hyjack, but wanted to say Congrats and I know how it feels!!!

Congrats!  That is exciting.    I know what you mean as i have gone from a 28 slacks and 4 x tops to a 22 and 1 and 2x tops.   The weird part is my brain hasn't caught up to my body.  I still try on bigger clothes and work my way down as I can't believe they will fit.   Don't know when that will end. Keep up the great work!! Pam

I know exactly what you mean.  I started out in a 26/28 in women's plus sizes and am now wearing a 12/14 in misses! It's so much more exciting to go shopping for clothes now and like you, I pick up a 12/14 or  a medium top and think to myself there's just no way this is going to fit and then it does!!!!  It's amazing!!  Congratulations on your success and hold on ~ it just keeps getting better and better!!  Hugs, Donna
