protein samples

I went to bariatric eating and ordered an assorted package. There's all sorts of stuff in it. One of the assortments comes with a book that if you don't have it already is a very good read. (Before and After: Living and eating well after weight loss surgery)

I would definitely try an assortment. The taste issue is such a personal thing. I know that I couldn't stand some of the things some of my friends really liked. That said, the best one I've found so far is from GNC and it's called AmericanWhey in vanilla. It's not terribly sweet.

If you are coming to Perkins on Saturday, AndreaU suggested doing a protien tasting, so I'll be bringing some things and I know she will; others may too. This way you may be able to actually taste a few things without the huge investment that trying a bit of this and that involve.

Well.. I'm partial to the Champion Pure Whey Stacks and the BSN's (although I get the Desserts because they are lower in cals for the same protein amount). If you aren't going to Perkins, lemme know and I can send you a bit to try of some that I have.
