Can't get full
I really do think a big part of it is our head. I doubt you are actually hungry, but our brain sure does have a way of making us THINK we are hungry! Have you moved on to pureed/soft foods yet? James is eating chili and seems to be tolerating it ok. He eats about a 1/4 to 1/2 c in one sitting (or about that). he eats slowly and if he starts feeling "weird", he'll stop and wait to eat more.
I've always been told, the pouch is not really "awake'" until a month or so, hence the reason for the pureed and liquid diet. You can't really tell if you are full at this point and eating much more than those types of food you could do damage to it. I don't know how much truth is in it, but it does sound like it may be right...
Anyway, you are doing great and let's see some updated pictures soon!!!

It's a BOY!
What you have to do is just measure out the amount you're "supposed" to eat and be done with it, period. That "I'm not full yet" feeling is in your head. You were previously able to eat a large amount of food and then that "full" feeling that you got was actually an overstuffed feeling. Your mind still wants that to signal you to stop eating ... but that comes too late, so don't wait for it. Just eat the amount you're supposed to measure out and then stop. Your mind will eventually catch up.
Make sure you're getting in your required protein and your required fluids ... that will help to keep you satisfied. Sometimes when your body thinks it's hungry, it's actually just thirsty.
