58 inches gone!!!
While I was in doing my thing this morning I thought it is time to measure.
I found my measurments that were taken right before surgery.
I am happy to say I have lost a total of 58.24 inches over all. The biggest drop was in my waist I have lost 10 inches and my abdomin 12 inches.
Trying to figure out where the waist is and where the abdomin is well I must be in the right area.
i am really doing it and boy am I happy.
I feel like I am in training for the olympics.
When using my rowing machine I visulize me rowing a boat on a lake and visulizing my arms looking nice and slender and pretty muscles like the people who row in compitions.
Once again I thank God for my MP3 player it makes such a difference.

Congrats, girl!! You're looking sooooo good!! I'm losing weight (again) and soon will be able to ride my bike. We should challenge ourselves (and anyone else who wants to join in) to ride to the West Coast. According to Google maps, it's 2,487 mi to LA. Let's say whoever gets there first-in miles ridden on the exercise bike-gets a prize. ($20 or less) We could also have a prize for most consistent biker. What do you say?? Kelly

Annie,
Congratulations on yet another 'measure' of your phenominal success!

Hi Debbie
I think I would call myself a professinal dieter LOL
I agree with what you said it is all about having a determined mind set.
Basically I am tired of being fat and for the first time in my life I want to experince what it feels like to be normal meaning be at a normal weight.
I have told people that I cant think about doing the excersie I just have to do it.
If I think about it then I can come up with a zillion reasons why I cant do it.
Also SMO cant do much in the way of excersise thats is why I started in the water.
each new thing I add to my workout I add it slowly and build up my time and distance.
My surgeon told me that people who make wls work are those who excersise.

That's great Annie! 58 inches, wow!
I love that you are so into your exercise, and I know what you mean about the MP3 player. Certain exercises I'm OK without it, but if I run at all, I can't do it without the music! Heck, I wish I could have it while swimming, but haven't been able to rationalize the expensive water-safe equipment.
