I am down 48 lbs and i still can see it. Yes my clothes are too big but when I look in the mirror I see the same body. How do you mentally change this???

It's something that just takes time.  There are days I can't see it.. and there are days I can.

Aww shucks.  It's a bit old, but figured it was a decent photo. I need Magnus to take a recent photo for an avie.

For me I have a hard time looking in the mirror. I have seen this obese woman for 20 plus years so it is hard to see anything different. Maybe at first it isnt in what you are seeing but ask yourself what are you feeling? Example do you find you are able to do simple task easier like maybe walk up some stairs without getting winded or cross your legs. I say to you dont stop looking in that mirror because one day it is going to surprize you!                                    Annie

I hear that people can see it but I don't see it in the mirror but I can see the differance in my photos. I hope one day I see a diff. in the mirror. I do feel the differance, in my mobility. Myrtis

I am down almost 80 lbs and still don't see it in the mirror.  I am so fortunate to work with a big group of very supportive people who keep telling me how good i look and ask what the number of lbs gone is now.   I don't like the word lost as i dont' intend to find them again.   Even when i go shopping, i still start with a size or two to big and then work down.    I truly believe that we are losing at such a fast pace that it just akes our brains time to catch up with the body.   I do have a lot of WOW moments but the dang mirrow still looks the same. Take care and keep up the great work! Pam
