Well, I've survived the first week & a half, and the first holiday (on liquids no less).  Hasn't been the easiest thing I've done, but I swear when I had my twins 17 mos ago, that was A LOT harder (physically & mentally)!!  I just can't wait until I join the century club :) I just set up my signature, with the ticker, so I hope this goes through ok.

I'm a week and a half late, but welcome to the loosers bench!!!  You're on your way girl!  Keep up the good work and you'll be with us in the Century Club before you know it!

LOL... Having had twins myself, I can totally relate. Since you survived that, you absolutely have what it takes to get through this and do it well. I told someone once that I thought that this surgery was much like having a baby. You can prepare all you want, but won't really know what it's like until you get there. It is also similar, in that each person's perspective and individual experience with it varies; what's almost unbearable for some, is just an obstacle for others. For all of us, just like having a baby, the first few weeks and months are the hardest. There may be times when you wonder what you got yourself into. Every few days, weeks and months you will experience new WOW moments, just like when you have a new baby and then you get the first year and you thought you'd never get there, but you look back and realize it's been an incredible year of growth and change. Yep! A lot like having a baby.

Thanks Barb...it really is like having a baby, or babies in my case.  You never know what you're going to experience next, but they're all wonderful moments. Sometimes I don't always see that they're wonderful, right then & there, but eventually I do realize it.
