Whew, eh?!  I really appreciated your sympathy and advice, Shelli.  Yes, I've heard our surgeon's post-op infection rate is really low...glad you mentioned that because now it really hits home how worthwhile it will be to go through the drill.  I will tell Allen what you said about his cold and how to handle things (and not handle things...if ya know what I mean!  lol).  I don't think I've admitted it, but I do have the smallest dosage of Xanax to take if my anxiety level gets too high before the surgery and was given permission to take it the morning of.  I can only handle a half of the smallest pill available because any more than that puts me to sleep...and that tiny bit relaxes me perfectly.  I won't hesitate to use it if I feel I need it.  :)  Your story sounds almost identical to Jason's on the day of your surgeries.  That would be so miserable.  I promise to take good care and you be sure to do the same!  {{{Hugs}}}

Shauna, you will do wonderful.  I will be praying for you as you hit the other side.  Welcome to the losers bench, it is all nice and cozy for you.

Shauna, if I wasn't so sore and out of energy from pushing my workout this evening, I would be jumping up and down for you being so close.  Wow, 48 hours from now you will be done and working on healing up from the surgery!  Tomorrow I will have to do a jig (ok, don't know what an actual jig is but I can do a little dance) for you being just a day away!

The countdown ticker is the best especially when it gets close to day zero! I loved watching mine change and I think I still like it now that it counts up. I will be thinking about you on Friday and can't wait to hear you have finished and are on the mending side. 'Bean' and I will save a place for you on the bench!

Oh goodie, so it will just count up until I can change it sometime after I get back home.  I can't wait to finally put THE weight-loss ticker on there and watch it go down, down, down!  Thanks for saving me a place on the bench!
