OT Hubby got rescheduled
Ive had a terrible week. Hubby was suppose to be home TODAY.... BUT thanks to the good ole CHAIR FORCE they are not coming home till Saturday. The Chair Force is the only way for hubby and his Marines and the two Helos to come home. I went to a sign making party on Saturday and I felt so bad for people with small children, the kids *dont* understand time and date changes. They moved it from Today, till tommorro at 3:00 am to Friday and now Saturday at noon.
anyways this is way WORSE then it was waiting for my RNY day to come. I should be more understanding since I used to be active duty, but I was single back then and my boyfriend at the time was with me in Saudi Arabia. It has been almost seven months and this is pure torture!! If he is not here by Saturday Im going to FLIP

Thanks friends for letting me rant and rave and scream and yell............ GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Darcie, Being a military wife I know the drill. If anything they are always late!!! Maybe you will get a giggle out of this little story.
Couple of my friends (other wife's) were expecting the squadron home on Friday. Got houses spotless and decided to take our 6 children (2 each) to the beach for the day so they would not make a mess in house. Checked ships movement recording just to be sure (no ships due in to Mayport until Friday!!! OK....... Off to the beach. About 11 am I look out and what do I see....... An aircraft carrier on the horizon... hmmmmm must be seeing things. NO... hey girls do you see what I see? What??? Where???? OMG?!?!?!?!? Get the kids!! We run around packing the kids up.... forget lunch and go flying over to the Charlie pier........ Sure enough there is an aircraft carrier coming in. Pier is full of screaming families. And we are sandy.... hot..... sweaty and in one car! Oh no........... wrong ship!!! What happened?!? After six months we were almost ready to grab a stray sailor and take him home!!! LOL Ship came in on schedule the next day!! Oh, the live of a military wife.
Anticipation is not always a bad thing! I am sorry you are having to wait as I know how frustrating it is, but oh boy what ah homecoming you will have!!!! Have you got the sexy undies and the trench coat ready??? LOL
Hugs,

LMAO thanks for the laugh! You see I was active Duty before I met hubby and have never been on *this side* as a Dependent waiting for my man to come home. Oh and thats a big 10-4 on the sexy stuff LOLOL I miss him so much!!! As far as something funny listen to this... I have been lucky enough to talk to him every single day. He had a phone on his desk. Well now that he is not working and just waiting to leave we have been doing instant messanger and webcam so we can see each other... well when he left I was 20 lbs heavier so he wanted me to *show* him some skin... so I pulled my shirt off and soon as I did another SNCO that he works with walked up behind him and STOPPED to watch and said *hey whos that* well to add insult to injury the damn camara FROZE with me with my boobs hanging out for the world to see LMAO OMG!!! thanks for the funny note
OMG!!! I'll bet you aren't the only one who's hurting while you wait for his arrival! I'm sure that image of a bit of skin is seared into his mind.
Wishing you both an incredibly wonderful, romantic, thrilling, passionate reunion.
Hugs,
Barbara
