So I have my answer

Many of you may remember that I posted about my Blood Clotting issues after my RNY.  Well after visiting with an Oncologist the verdict is out.......I have lupus anticoagulant.  NO NO NO it does not mean I have lupus.  It was just named that because it is prevalent in lupus patients.   From my understanding (from the dr. and the internet)  my blood clots extremely fast and due to the surgery this "disease" kicked into high gear.

Since they did not originally test for Lupus they have now; I should know those results by the first of the week.  I feel great and have lost 65 lbs in less than 3 months. 

I remain positive and whatever is in my future it is in God's hands!!

This is absolutely the best decision I ever made (to have RNY)!

At least you know what the problem is and has been. Do the docs have a plan of treatment - is it treatable I guess should be my question? I know nothing at all about Lupus - except it's mentioned on almost every episode of House only to be ruled out.
