We live in the triangle and it has been stormy and windy but doesn't seem to be any severe damage. Been hearing accounts of the eastern part of the state. Hope you are all well and getting through this storm!
I hope you all are being safe today. Especially you on the coast. Today is truly an indoor day and getting things done. You?
Hope you are all safe and well during the storm!

Working today and am taking my lunch break. I have to get in my OH jones and list all my foods today. My friends were playing with the internet at home so I didn't have any last night. Couldn't log on and almost went through withdrawals.
I'll be thinking of all y'all down east today and tomorrow. I hope you make it through the hurricane intact.
Becca,
Congratulations on your successful surgery. Be sure to follow your Dr's instructions re: hydration, protein and supplement intake. Also be sure to walk a few minutes every hour. It will help the gas move through your system as well as help safeguard you against developing a blood clot. The most common reason that people are readmitted to the hospital after WLS is dehydration, so be sure that you are getting in those fluids. I'm not sure of the regimen that your Dr prescribed. I know that my program had us taking 2 ounces of liquid protein at the top of each hour and 2 more ounces of fluid at each 1/4 hour. This really helped us get in that fluid and the protein.
Wising you all the best as you continue your journey,
Barbara
