Hey everybody! Surgery went well yesterday. Walked a little last night and the nurses checked on me a lot. I didnt sleep well. My back and neck started hurting. Had blood drawn at 5:30 this morning. The most pain I have right now is the gas pains in my tummy. I am so thankful all went well. Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts.

OH I am not trusting a fart but these have all been air so far. TG.
First protein shake postop has been interesting to say the least.
Yes I am sip sip sipping and walk walk walking. The nurses at the hospital said they were gunna have to lay new tile because they were convienced I was gunna wear a hole in the floor. I was up every few hours walking and ALWYS walked after I took a pee or after I "ate".
Chicken broth is my best friend right now.
I look like hell warmed over but hubby hugged me "gently" this morning because I was having issues getting out of the bed. I was crying I was a beached whale and he might as well call animal control to come get me. He hugged me and told me that if all beached whales looked as good as I did then there wouldn't be a wale shortage. I love that man, he can take that sort of situation and make it funny but he also lets a person know they are so worng abiot thinnking negative about themselves.
YAY I get to take a shower today. as soon as I finish my shake I am back upstairs (*CRIES*) and into the shower. Gunna feel glorious let me tell you.

Hi all,
Today we have to drive to Siler City to pick up a ladder from someone on Freecycle. That is a 50 minute drive one way. But hubby will have a ladder since ours was taken. I contacted the lady who is in charge of the drivers to ask them to please return these items but who knows. Since I found my school books, I need to tackle those today and get this course over with. Lots to learn. I did something really stupid this morning. I forgot to put the pot on the coffee maker and got coffee all over the counter. Good thing it was only the four cup machine and not the 12, huh?

Hey Audra Lynn,
Soooo glad to have you back. I hope that you enjoyed your time in PA. I was just thinking of you. We have a member of our Saturday group that has been having some issues w/strictures and I was thinking that it might help her to talk with you. If you'll touch base with me via PM or on the meetup site, maybe I can see about hooking you up, if you have the bandwidth.
BTW... I don't think you normally lose all your info after a few months of inactivity. My guess is that it was some sort of hi-cough.
