Hi all,
Well, looks like we may be in for a little weather this weekend. I hope all you on the coast will take head to any warnings.
Today I finish unpacking, I think. I am finding that I don't have the room here like I had in the other house. Finding places for everything is a challenge. I also found my school books so I need to tackle them again and get through this course.
I have a job! I will be an Installer/Merchandiser for Hallmark. I will travel all around Durham and service WalMart stores. I hope I can do this. My hands aren't what they used to be. I think the hardest part is going to be keeping track of my time. Talk about micro management of every second. Yikes! At least I will finally have some money coming in.

Hi Hattie, welcome to the group. My name is Emelinda but everyone calls me Linda or Eme. U r in Norlina? I am not too far from you. I am in Roanoke Rapids. I had my surgery (Gastric Bypass) done in 2009 and that is something I have never regretted. I look forward to reading about your journey and I as well as everyone else is to support you. Again welcome to the group!!

Yes i have been looking on there and the ryn too just in case my insurance doesnt cover the sleeve i will find out tomorrow...and yes i will be going to Duke

Welcome Hattie! Do check out the sleeve forum for more info about that. I had the RNY so I don't have much advice to give. I was orignally told the sleeve would be best but my insurance didn't cover it so I changed to RNY. I'm happy with the surgery I had, though.

Hello just wanted to introduce myself, I am Hattie and i live in a small town called Norlina..its about 20 mins from henderson. I am looking into getting the sleeve done. I go for some appointments at the end of sept (really excited)!!!! I am so ready for this new life journey, ready to be happy with my self.

I'm still sick today and getting a little better. I almost thought about calling the doctor but I'm getting better and I think the bad part is just about over now. My hope of losing some weight while sick isn't happening for some reason! LOL! I'm scheduled to work this weekend. I hope #1 I'm feeling ok enough to work and #2 that the weather doesn't get in the way of me getting to work! Anyone else out here in the east? Some of the island and beach towns are asking people to leave.
