Paula, I'm glad you finally got your things!  At least this ordeal can be put behind you now.

Today was the 1st day of my new job.  It was spent listening to welcome speeches, filling out paperwork and fixing our computer passwords.  But it is good to be back in the land of adults!  The cats don't talk back to me enough so I was getting bored sitting at home all the time.  I believe this will be a good experience for me.  I worked for this company 4 years ago so I already know what to expect and know that I will like it.  The only disappointment of the day was receiving my new id badge.  I had a new picture taken for it but what do I get??  A new badge with the picture from 4 years ago!!!!  So I'm fat in it!!  The only thing that looks like me in the picture is the color of my hair.  Sad.

Went in to work for meetings this morning but spent the rest of the day at Barnes and Nobles reading and picking out books. talk about a busman's holiday for a librarian! But it was nice to just do what I wanted to do instead of what I had to do.

I had a taco salad today - fajita taco salad at Tererros. It was good though I couldn't eat the whole thing and didn't eat any of the shell. Still tasted great.

Been thinking about Proud to be Loser- hope she's enjoying the good drugs after a successful surgery!
