No exciting plans for the weekend here. I have to work both days. But I did have today off and we went swimming and then out to lunch. We did some errands and are now at home relaxing. I was happy to see I lost some more weight when I weighed myself today. I am finally in the 250's! I haven't been there for years and years. It feels good. yesterday was the first time I looked in the mirror and could actually tell a difference.

I wish you the best this weekend with your stuff, Paula!

It was about 10 days, maybe a little longer.  I have weeks when I lose a pound a day and then weeks I lose nothing or maybe just 2 pounds.

You really have no choice but to succeed with this surgery so relaxing and making sure you are eating enough protein and getting enough fluids is about all you can do.

Hi all,

Today we work on scrounging up the money for the move.  I may go mall walking today to get out of the house for awhile.

We still have to use only one car to get around.  I wonder about my phone interview tomorrow.  Well, I am hoping and praying that something good will happen soon.  I am hoping we get the help we need tomorrow or it isn't going to happen.  I can't lift heavy stuff and hubby can't do it alone.  We may  have one person.  We shall see.

Anyway, I want to hear about your exciting plans for the weekend.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

on a slightly annoying plus side to that though- you know what you can live without. and i say that because for YEARS I existed out of two duffle bags and a 13 gallon garbage bag. Wasn't the easiest life but I managed, and YES I was married- we were nomads so to speak. Not married to that person anymore and happliy married and stable right where I am now.

This is happy news that you will finally get your household goods. I am glad you are getting yours before i get mine. Mine is scheduled to deliver via PODS at the end of this month. Living in a nearly empty house does make one a bit stir crazy when you know most everything you need is in storage but you can't get to it right now. I am glad you got it worked out.

can I ask how long your "stall" was?  did you do anything to help jump start your weight loss again?

I just got over a stall and have lost a pound a day for a week.  So once you get past the stall it starts melting off again!

LOL I mess up just to clean up sometimes. I am an obsessive compulisve when it comes to my house. I will FIND things that do not look right. LOL. Keeps me from sitting around being bored, since I am not a TV watcher or all that crafty with my hands. It is all good, I do not mind cleaning, just me i guess.

Proud,
I cannot beleive you have more cleaning to do! It seems like all you've been doing is cleaning. So, just to help out, if you need to continue cleaning and have run out at your house, come on over! LOL

In case I don't say it again, good luck on the surgery. I know it has been a long time coming and I hope everything goes smoothly. Let us know just before you go in so I can keep you in my thoughts.

Hi Paula,

I saw your FB link to your moment of fame as they told your story. I'm glad that you got them involved and were able to get a resolution, even if it wasn't a perfect one. I'm sorry that you have had such a difficult transition to NC and hope that from here on out you will have smooth sailings.

I wish I were in a position to help this weekend, but Ben just had knee surgery and the support group meeting this month is a major event that will require a significant set-up and breakdown...

Wishing you all the best and a smooth move home.
