Well 730 am I was out and on the or table ready for my gastric bypass. Lost 85 lbs since start. But after 1 hour of them trying to incert catheter to go they stoped and sent me to recovery. I have to see a urolgist this week now since they could not get the cath to go in. I was discarged by 11 am and on my way home.

Don't be discouraged.  Things happen for a reason and hopefully this is just a little bump in the road.  Keep us posted as to how things go with the Urologist!

she';s right, things do happen for a reason. try not to let it get to you too much.. although i know that is tough... all the timing of it all....... chin up. you day will come too. keep us posted on what happens..........

well it has been a few weeks now, i have been thinking about you... what is happening for you? did you get any answers from a urologist? what is DR gens saying is in the cards for you?...... thinking of you sweetpea

I had a procedure done int the office of the urologist yesterday. Were they found a stricture. he was able to clear it up to a point. I have a catheder and bag attatched to my leg. gens office called last night and want me to have it next week. I guess janee had me on the schedual if all went well with urologist. So hopefully if all goes well next tuesday We will go for attempt 2 scott

well i'm glad to here they figured it out......... a bag attached to you inner leg?..........for a week?......... it's be worth it!........... hey?............were you at the hosipital on january 2?........hmmmmmmmmmmmm. im the morning?......waiting to see dr. gens?..........i was there, and when i came back into the waiting area, there was a dude sitting there, and i swear dr. gens called in a guy named scott......was that you?......if it was...lol. i was the woman that was walking in from the other room for my 2 week check up..lol. not that you noticed or anything, maybe you were reading or something, i dunno, i wasn't paying much attention, but when i heard the name scott from dr. gens i looked over but the dude was already in his office.... good luck next week.. i'll be waiting to here more!!

yes that was me.  I had the catheder done at the docotrs office in dover.  my surgery has been reschedualed for tue the 15 of january.
