Surgery Approved Too!!!

Hi All,

I have been a lurker for a while - I think this is my first post...  But, this weekend I got my approval letter too...  I was shocked at how fast the approval process went - I saw Dr. Looser on 1/14.    I do have surgery scheduled too - Feb. 23rd...  Now this is for real... 

Seems like you wait and wait and then BAM - everything at once...

I am having the bypass...  Wow, I still can't believe this is happening - but, looking forward to sitting on the losers bench...

I have met some of you at the support group meetings - but, I'm sure you have no clue who I am - lol...  (I like to sit in the back...)

Thanks for all the really great information and reading this forum has helped me make the decision to actually do this...

Congrats!!! You are so right in regards to the waiting and then BAM!!! I too am waiting for surgery and also looking forward to the losers bench!

That is so great.  We are all very happy for you.  Don't worry, we will bring you out of the shadows soon :-)  Especially when you come to the post op!

Honestly, I am really scared.  What kind of pain can be expected?  I think that is what I am most nervous about.

Congrats!!  My surgery was approved the same week, but my date isn't until 3/31.  There is quite a queue at CMC.  I understand they're looking for another surgeon because of the increasing demand.
