Week is flying by and just realizing that if I don't do this I don't hold myself accountable for what I am grabbing.  I have noticed that I will grab something with out thinking if I haven't planned the day out.  so here goes

Breakfast - Atkins Protein bar
snack Greek Yogurt w/ sf peach spread
lunch not sure boss is taking us to Rosa's in Portsmouth so I am sure it will chicken of some kind

dinner - I am taking Oldest for senior pics tonight so Wendy's chili it is
snack - Greek yogurt ( I need more protein I think the 5k is in less than a week)

Have a great day and hug the ones you love tomorrow is not promised to anyone!

Topic: some BIG WOW moments
hello everyone..

well yesterday and this morning had some very big wow moments for me..

yesterday day the wife and i had to go shopping to buy me a suit to wear to a funeral this weekend... so i had absolutely no idea what size i am in dress clothes any more so i started tiring on jackets... started with a 48L (used to be 52-54L) and you guessed it WAAAYYY too big ended up going all the way down to a 40L and decided that a 42L slim cut  looked best(still have broad shoulders).. so than to the shirt.. the guy measured me and told me that i was a 16 35/35 shirt so of course i grabbed a 16 1/2 and put it all on and the shirt looked like a tent... i had to get a 16 slim cut shirt... SLIM CUT coat and shirt... ME  what is going on... this isn't right the fat guy buying slim cut.... i have been buying "big and tall" or "husky" as far back as i can remember...

so my second wow ..
after the suit yesterday i decided i needed to do an "official weigh in" this morning which is a morning weigh on the wii ( it is the closest scale to the one at prh office) and it tracks everything and calculates your BMI..

so i get on the scale and it computes my BMI and it came up 24.86.... NORMAL omg i an a normal body weight !!!!!!!!

i never in my wildest dreams thought i would ever get to be "normal" but here i am 38 weeks out of surgery and i am normal...

well thanks for all of my OH friends help along the way !

lets see what the next 38 weeks bring!!

Dave

Like Dave said you are a bit early out for bars yet,  you are still on mushies?  But in a couple of weeks they should be fine.  You don't want an angry pouch....Trust me on this one it is not fun!  I eat the Pure Protein and the Atkins bars but I only started that about 7-8 weeks out.  After I had cleared it with Jackie.  The urge to have something solid is tough, but you will make it through this and be happy you gave your pouch to heal.   Good luck and welcome on the losers bench.

Any portsmouth people know when we are allowed to eat these post-op?  I loved them pre-op and have been craving them.  I supposed I could always call Jackie.
