I am so there with you Pokes. This time of year is so tough for me.  I would be in the same position without the work on the weekends to get camp in order, and then closed.  We still have more work to do this weekend.  Just do the best you can.  Try and get to the gym once a week if possible, or take an extra fast walk around the mall as you are shopping for those birthday presents!  You can also go downtown Exeter, and walk and window shop to get ideas.  It is so hard.  There are many days that the only exercise I get is up and down three flights of stairs at work...which was 4 trips yesterday thanks to our surprise fire drill....

Oh...and there is always Dodgeball!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this site.  I have been in the Bariatric Program now for three months.  I am hoping to have Gastric Bypass in December or January.

Oh, and I forgot to mention (because a lot of people ask about this):

At the Portsmouth support group on Oct. 25th, a plastic surgeon will be on hand to answer your questions.  Hope you can make it.

Best,

Grant

Way to go everyone, we are moving and that is what we have to focus on.  I am still planning on the 5k for next week, although I am  leaning towards the walking more than jogging (still looking for a good bra for the ladies)  but I did OK this week with 27 miles.

Hoping for more next week, and trying to get hubby b back going with me.  I do enjoy walking with my son but his 34 in-seem keeps me running to keep up with his strides lol

I killed it this weekend!  Or at least I think I did...  260 minutes.  Lots of walking, chasing my kids at the park, and the Strides Walk in Dover yesterday.  Yay me!

Good lord Martha you are kicking ass!!!
I'm actually getting excited for the leaves to fall so I can do the day of leaf clean-up!

Last week went OK; I still need to figure out more things to do since lunch walks and gym time doesn't seem to be adding up as well as the weekend hikes did over the summer :(

Last week I put in about 300 minutes again... BOOO!! I hate just reaching my minimum.

I need to figure out a way to fit in more activity time. Things are so busy at home I now to the point of endless exhaustion so there is no urge to do much of anything, especially weekends when I normally would... plus weekends are pretty booked up with Birthday hell weeks we have entered.

any suggestions to get me out of my funk?
