I believe that for things like yogurt and fresh fruit the sugar grams we are 'allowed' are a little higher at 12g. That being said however, being so soon out of RNY you may not want to pu**** Greek yogurt (plain) has less sugar in it and you can add spenda and such to it to sweeten it up (which it needs.... desperately!)
But, these are things you should have to worry about for a while.... aren't you in the midst of the 2 weeks of shake hell?

I made it to the loosers side 
Dr. Looser did my RNY on Friday and I came home yesterday. Since I started my official weigh in I was 251 and now am at 223. My goal is 138.
Anyway, my question is about Dannon Light and Fit yougurt. I had my husband go get these for me since it was on the list, but looking at the sugar, I wonder if it is okay. It says 11g sugar. Is that okay? the flavor is strawberry banana - I wonder if different flavors have different sugar amounts.
I am confused - is there a sugar amount we should stay under at this point. I just bought it based on the list I got when discharged and the info in our blue book.

It is here at the yard during work. I get to take the time during lunch lol I know it will take me a bit longer, but I think it will be worth it. I am just excited to be even thinking about something like this, when just 1 year ago I was handing out the water at the end and cleaning up after everyone. I am in hopes to figure out a costume that I can run/walk in. Maybe my old hockey jersey or ref stripes. we will see what happens on that I have a little time to figure it out.

OK, I am setting a goal of 80 miles this month. I need to kick it up in order to make that 5k. If I keep typing it I will have to do it!

plan plan plan... here we go!
Breakfast: Cottage Cheese w almonds & apple
Lunch: Chili w low fat cheese
snack: apple muffin
Dinner: Turkey Taco Tuesday!!
IF the weather holds Ill walk at lunch again and hit the gym after work (I didn't gym yesterday... I refuse to go on free pizza Mondays!!)
I feel like i have been doing very poorly as of late. I was really sick at the beginning of the month and happen to go see Dr gens at the time and got weighed. I was down like 15lbs in under 3 months, I think because I wasn't eating bc of the cold. Now that I'm slowly getting better the weight seems to be creeping up and its freaking me out... LOTS. I feel like I am failing all over again and its totally messing with my head!!

I'm going to stick with my 1200 since I have been having trouble getting the time in as of late. I know I should push myself with a higher goal but I don't want to become disappointed if I don't make it. I have enough disappointment bringing my confidence down... don't think I could handle more!
I am excited to have Dodge ball start this week... just wish we had a better spread of game times... is it me or do they all seem on the later side of the schedule?

I have been all out of sorts this month when it comes to activity. I think it all started with that stupid cold (which I still an fighting!) and the change of seasons that has thrown everything off. In summer I was out all the time doing stuff but now that seems to be slowing down consiterably with the cold moving through. I have been hitting the gym more but I find it depressing to leave the gym @ 630 and have it be dark outside :(
So here is how I did
Week 4: 410
Week 5: 300ish (I may have gone over but Im not exactly sure so Im sticking with the 300)
So, my monthly total is 1610. I definatly lucked out with the 5 week month to get that all in!

OK so I guess I missed week 2 lol but that was the weekend we went away for my birthday and that was a great week for walking.

So I met my goal and I am looking forward to making it even better this month. I pace at all of the soccer games and the fields are never close to the parking lot so that adds quite a bit of walking. I am also now walking ( starting to jog) at work most days trying to get ready for the 5k October 27th. I am not sure if I will do the run or walk it, either way I am committing myself to the race. So a new month, a new goal.....Dodgeball starts this week, so I know I will have some exercise. I need to get back to the gym also.
I am keeping my goal of 1400 for this month. I have a lot going on, but most of it is activity driven, so I hope to make it this month.
