Yesterday went alright, except after work I made the boys cookies... that didn't go so well. I knew there was a reason I started making cookie bars! But today, back on track

The plan

Breakfast: Cottage Cheese w almonds and apple
Lunch: More Pork spring roll stuffing
Dinner: its Turkey Taco Tuesday!!

I have some cheese sticks and wheat thins at home if I need a snack when I get there. I have been noticing I have been snacking after work like old times so I need to get something established so I dont just go all out. Hopfully once I get back to the gym this will slow down (since I get home later). Can't wait to be fuctioning again!

Howdy....yup been MIA for a few.  Really struggling with some old addictions coming back...Boy, I really thought that I had won those battles. 

So Here goes.  I am going to try and stick to this as well as I can. 

Breakfast:  Greek yogurt with 1/2 cup low fat granola.

Lunch:  Tuna and Sundried tomato wheat thins (YUM!!!!)

Dinner:  I am going to try and get home in time to make meatloaf, but if not, will do pork chops.

I have cheese sticks for snack....Got to get some more pure protein or oh yeah bars!!!

I'm new here,,,  but.......    Dr Gens okayed my insurance at the same time, and I was also wondering about my 2nd appot. wih him.....  I got tired of waiting so I called them and explained that I need to have a time frame for the surgery for my work.... ,, well, they have a tentative date 'october 26', and if I hadn't called, they wouldn't have told me....   They're waiting to hear back from the second surgeon, whether she is also available on that date... So , I'm just waiting for them to confirm on that doc and I suppose they'll confirm the date of surgery.....    I hope you've set up your per-op visit with the nurtritionist, don't wait. It took me 3 weeks to get in with her, and you Have to see her before the surgery...  "I saw her today".  This looks like a great forum, the nutritionist told me about it today...  I've been on another forum "thinnertimes.com" which has been a great source of info for me...  But,  I am also here now,,,  So,,,,   perhaps it's time you did call Dr Gens and see whether they have a tentative date for you as well ! ! !   Good Luck ! ! !

well this weekend I hung out with my best friend all weekend he lives 1000 miles away and we see each other 2-3 times a year.. well he has allways been the skinny or normal one of the two of us. Well we had our picture taken on Sunday and holy crap I am thinner than him!
Whatg a wow moment(but it screws with my head)

ugh, Monday!
I think the weekend went fairly well. Helped some friends move yesterday which involved Pizza but other than that, I think I chose well. Even found something new to make yesterday :)

So, today's plan

Breakfast: Cottage Cheese with Almonds
Lunch: Ground Pork Spring Roll Stuffing and a cheese stick
Dinner: Pork chops and veg (dang, I'm eating lots of pig lately!)

I'm SLOWLY getting better so I hope at some point to make it to the gym this week, I realized its been like 3 weeks since i was there!! While I have been walking and doing other stuff I can tell by my stalled weight that I need to get back there.. NOW!

happy monday all..

well back to the real world after a long weekend at the race track... it was a hard weekend due to the face the races have always been about eating and drinking as much as possable... well .... that didnt happen i ate pretty well i drank a little and i walked a ton!! so i think i am going to call the weekend a complete sucess!

so monday ...

breakfast- eas carb advantage shake
lunch- tuna, 6 wheat thins and light mayo
snack- pure protien bar
snack-greek yugurt
dinner.. not sure what the wife has taken out but i will be good..

OK weekend went well, I made good choices and only tried something I shouldn't have once.   I enjoyed all the walking we did and managed to lose a little weight while we were gone.

OK on to today

Breakfast  -  egg w/ cheese (hubby made breakfast before I left this morning)
Lunch -  grilled chicken w/ spinach
dinner - stir fry chicken and shrimp w/ cheese
snack - protein bar
snack - Greek Yogurt
