I hit my goal too, although I didn't have a great week.  But I did get in 245 minutes, for a total 1415 minutes for August.

Hi all,

Yesterday went okay for me as well.  I was very hungry in the afternoon, don't know why because I ate similar to the day before.  Oh and the lobster was awesome, but my grandson ate 2/3 of my lobster, and a half of a second one I tried to eat.  Oh boy, and he is only 4.  Way too early to develop a love for lobster!

So my plan for today:

Breakfast:  Shake with simply smart milk

Lunch:  Going to shaws and getting a salad with chicken and cheese and a nectarine

Dinner:  I am not getting home until late, so Gary is cooking again!

Snacks:  I have cottage cheese and pure protein bars.  I will probably need at least one, as I am going to jazzercise tonight!

Happy dance all around!!!!! That is so great!  Keep up the great work, you inspire others as well (including me)  I am have a goal of 190 for my birthday in 18 days It is only 2-3lbs away depending on the day I am not sure I am in a stall or not, but I am kicking the walking up a bit more.  I am averaging 2.5 miles a day and I want to jump it up to 3.5 or 4 but this heat is kicking my butt.   I am so excited for you that maybe today I will make that 3.5 mark

morning all ..

well i stepped on the scale at home this morning and what do you know it said 194( it is off 4 lbs from the gym scale that is my official weigh) so i am going to officially claim my place in ONDERLAND! it has been a VERY long time since i have been under 200 (probably 15-16 years old) ... 199 was the goal that i had set for my self when i started this journey with the idea it would be like every other weight goal in my life.. UNOBTAINABLE well i have reached this goal 7 months and 5 days after my surgery (and one day after my fathers) it is also kind of ironic it was one year ago this weekend that i brought up the subject of WLS with my wife. i am so happy i could just scream!! as DR. Wagner puts weight goals are a moving target and i want to lose another 8 lbs before i start " adding calories" so that when i have my "bounce" i will land right here.. I think this is were i look and feel good (but you never know might feel better at 189)...

thanks everyone for all your support and guidance to help reach my goal !!
and the biggest THANKS goes to one of my dearest friends BAMMA with out your help i would still be that " fat guy" from a year ago .. LOVE YA !!!

good morning...
thanks again for the support and thoughts for dad (BIG RED) he was doing OK when i went to see him last night ... he was sleeping alot and a little nauseous but OK in general..

as for me a ate pretty well yesterday nothing too bad i did go off plan and had breakfast at the hosp. with my niece (2 eggs English muffin and 2 stripes bacon) not the greatest choices but it could have been much worse(there was 22g protein in the meal)

so for today..

iced coffee with sugar free coffee mate
breakfast-eas carb advantage shake
lunch(any guesses?) tuna 6 wheat thins and light mayo
snack 1- Greek yogurt
snack 2- pure protein bar
dinner- i think i saw pork chops in the fridge so that would be my guess

thanks again

Dave

OK so Tuesday went OK, till last night had an upset pouch  (tried steak on the grill guess I will wait on that one some more) and thought I would try 4 wheat Ritz crackers very bad idea.... other than that it went well.
Today is blood donation day at work, this will be my first attempt, I hope my iron is high enough to give today! Lots of water and fluids!!!!!!

Breakfast - egg (pouch still not happy) (6g if I add cheese 10g)
lunch Chicken salad 22g
snack protein bar 18g
diner hamburger with cheese 32g
I am still not really able to get much in for veggies.
