Dad will do fine!!! He has done everything he needs to do to have this surgery successful. Please keep me informed. Just keep telling yourself that he would not want you to eat your way through this day. Take tonight off also so you can spend it with him!
I know you would be upset if I didn't post my plan, so here goes.
I did very well yesterday, and seem to get better and better with my eating every day. Cravings seem to be dimishing also!!
Breakfast: Muscle milk light strawberry shake with simply smart milk (I found out I really don't like the strawberry, so I am going to have to find something to put in it!)
Lunch: Tuna with light miracle whip on a sandwich round and a nectarine
Dinner: Lobster, potato salad, cole slaw, regular salad....Sorry!!! :-) We are having my in-laws over for their last lobster dinner for the year before they leave for Oklahoma and Arizona. My whole family is coming for dinner!!
I have Baby bell cheese, greek yogurt, pure protein bar and oh yeah bars for snacks. Should only need one for today!
he is in our thoughts and prayers and he will do great. Give him a hug for me and let me know if you need anything. I am in Portsmouth everyday so if you need something give me a yell and I am just a few minutes away. Keep a drink in your hand to keep the food away. Have a great day.

Good afternoon all =).
The weekend went pretty well for me though I also got sick Saturday, however, I know why... I had steak for the first time since surgery and it tasted so yummy I didn't chew it up properly (I cut it into small bites and would have been fine but I did the old two chew and swallow like a goof). Lesson learned.
Breakfast - cottage cheese with pumpkin seeds
Lunch - Lean cuisine turkey w/dressing (and I skip the dressing except for a bite or two)
Dinner - tilapia and green beans
Snack - either a greek yogurt or a protein bar
I'm doing much better on protein now. On average I get 55 grams a day. Though I will occasionally have a 40 day. Breakfast alone this morning was 20 grams so today I might hit 60ish.
