Awesome Kerry, welcome. We are a great group here, and really challenge each other and ourselves. Good luck at school again! I went back at 40, and oh boy was it ever a wake up call! Never regretted it though, and I am still in the field I went to school for.

Put me down for 1000 :) Next week is going to be lame - my first week as a full time student after 15 years will take all my focus - but I think the following 4 will make up for it.

Hi Kerry,
The goal consists of minutes you think you can exercise for the month. Each week I will post to get your totals for that week. Then at the end of the month, whoever makes or breaks their goal gets a gold star or two! It is one way that we stay accountable to get out there and exercise.

Topic: RE: Its Monday (GROAN)
Today is the beging of the interesting week. SInce I don't get on the plane till 1235 I thought I would still post up.... get my weekly motivation.
The plan.. for today atleast
Breakfast: COttage cheese w. almonds and grapes
Lunch: PB&J for the plane (I probably should have tried to time that flight better!)
Dinner: I HOPE to go shopping once i make it to FL so Ill pick up some shrimp or something to have at the house for the week.... snacks and dinners full of the good stuff there.
Snacks: I have some almonds in my carry one and a suitcase of almonds and protien bars for while Im down there so I have someting with me at all times. My buddies are gonna think im crazy!

OK, so I have been kind of ignoring this post ...sorry Martha because I didn't want to track my exercise. So for the Month of Sept i am going to change this. I am going to track what I walk, I am not sure on time frame so I am going to go with miles because I am rocking my new pedometer and that helps me keep moving. OK enough ranting from me my goal for September
is 75 Miles. That should get me off my butt at work and start moving more at the soccer field while I watch Justin. Go team.

Im going to stick with the 1200 again this month. Next week is gonna be lame for minutes Im sure and my knee is starting to slow me down... no more hikes to keep my numbers up... so if i break 1200 for sept.... ill be happy!

I dont know why but Im proud that made it this week. I definatly cut it close but I got in the 300 that I need to each week :)
Bama, Im VERY jealous of you and the C25K!! Unfortunatly Im gonna have to pull myself out all together. I have been trying to run but each time my knee just gets worse and worse. I see the doc next month, but its the day before the Eliot race (and I can't afford to go in any sooner). I was SO excited to finaly run!!
I hope to one day get to where you are with running. Just seems now that I don't have the weight thing holding me back its just something else...boo!!
