You are amazing, Lisa!  You are an inspiration, especially with the level of physical fitness you have achieved and maintained.

I am happy for you!

Hi Kathy!

I really never thought I would be where I am today.  I struggled all my life with my weight and although I have bad days, the struggle is not near as hard as the 30+ prior years.

I haven't been to the support group in months either.  Maybe we can go to one together?  It would be great to see you again!

Lisa,
Congratulations on this awesome milestone.  You have done so well.  Did you ever think that you'd be where you are today before you started this WLS journey????  You are an inspiration to us all.  By the way, do you still go to the DHMC support group meetings?  I haven't been in months and was thinking of going back.
Have a great day!
Kathy

Yesterday went well. Wasn't at the gym as long as I had hoped... that happens when you bring people who bail out early ;)

Today I'm all messed up,  just eating breakfast now thanks to a trip to a different office that was supposed to take 15 minutes taking over 2 hours!

The plan

Breakfast: 1cup cottage cheese and 10 almonds
Lunch: 1.5 turkey sausage w. peppers and onions
Snack: pear (was to be part of breakfast but yeah, didn't happen)
Dinner: Chicken and a veggie

Going to hit up the gym again after work to get my legs moving again. Apparently that canolli from 2 weeks ago is still haunting me, right Dave?
Need to get them normal again so I can hike Mt. Chcoura with Hubs for our anniversary :)

The Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Parkland Medical Center program is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and it does accept Medicare -- but not Medicaid - patients for bariatric surgery. More details about the program can be found at http://ow.ly/2nw9v

It was 2 years ago I had my surgery!  It's so hard to believe because time passes so quickly.  I go today for labs and next Wed. to see the Nut.  I have lost half of my body weight....140lbs!!!  Everything about the surgery has been a positive for me.  I have learned not to take what others say to me to heart.  I get the, "you are way too thin" comments all-the-time!  Most of you know I was certified to teach Jazzercise in March and I am loving it!  I get many compliments after teaching and they are so nice to hear.  It's a lot of hard work, but totally worth every minute I spend on practicing/teaching.

That's about it.  Have a great day!

Yeasterday went ok, lol but lunch turned into Chili and dinner into baked haddock.  Other than that it went well.

Today
Breakfast Atkins protein bar (18 g Protein - 1 sugar)
Snack 2 oz Cantelope
Lunch Chilli (finish off yesterdays)
snack greek yogurt
Dinner will be chicken & Shrimp with cheese
snack if needed will be more yogurt

I am taking your advice and trying to hit the 90 - 100g of protien per day.

good morning planners...

yesterday went well food wise i did add 6 pieces of su****o my dinner but it still kept me well under my goal calories for the day..
well exserise is a totaly different story.. with the heat lately it has been hard to walk at lunch (the shop has no a/c so if i walk at lunch when i get back i sweat for hours) and there is plenty of other excuses that i guess i have to suck up and do what i need to do!'

so todays plan

iced coffee eith sugar free coffee-mate
breakfast - eas carb advantage shake
lunch- tuna 6 wheat thins and light mayo
snack- Greek yougrt
snack 2(if needed) pure protien bar
dinner- i saw some nice looking steaks in the fridg this morning so that would be my guess

hope every one has a great day

and Bamma how was that new dish last night?

There is no need to look back unless you plan on going that way!

Thanks everyone I am going to pass on the Info, I just think it is crazy to expect someone to loose 70 some odd pounds before  surgery , and it breaks my heart because I already had one friend who passed away at age 24 because she was almost 500 lbs and they denied her for surgery  and she appealed it , well she died on Monday of lung failure and got approval the friday after , It killed us !! These Insurance  companies and soem docs dont understand just how crucial this surgery is for some people to save there lives! So I am trying to help this friend as much as I can so i really appreciate all your help!! I Miss NH  people so  nice  there :(
