Okay, so I think I have everyone in here!  If not, please remind me.

Well, did not have the best of weeks, but it was not too bad considering I could not do anything Thursday or Friday.  But I went to the gym twice, and walked and swam at camp.  I also wore my pedometer to work a couple of days and realized that I walk in excess of two miles a day just from the printer, copier, and other offices and back.  So I am going to count that, and the going up and down 3 flights of stairs at least twice a day!

So all in all, I did 315 minutes!

Thanks Grant...I knew you would pop on here and let us know.  The Medicaid/Medicare situation is really new, so I was not sure of all the details!

Is it possible to update the first posting that stays on here to reflect the new information?

Well here is my plan for the day.

Breakfast:  Whole wheat toast with 2 tbls peanut butter

Lunch:  Salad with light italian dressing and 3 ounces tuna

Dinner:  Something with Chicken.  I may try an new recipe.

I have baby bell cheese and protein bar for snack if I need them.

I really am not eating much right now.  My stomach is acting really funny, lots of nausea and some pain.  Not quite sure what it is about, but it seems to get worse the more stress I am under!  I am keeping an eye on it, and if it gets worse, I will call Dr. Gens.

Hi,

Just wanted to clarify a point made above.  The Portsmouth Regional Hospital and Parkland Medical Center program is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and it does accept Medicare -- but not Medicaid - patients for bariatric surgery. More details about the program can be found at http://ow.ly/2nw9v or by asking several of the regular posters here!  Thanks a lot and good luck.

Best,

Grant Sanborn

Thanks Kathy,

This is just a way to keep us moving, and to make us accountable.  We would love it if you joined.  Just give me a goal for the month in minutes that you would like to accomplish, and then keep a running total each week.  I post (or at least try to!) every week and everyone gives me their weekly total.  The people who have reached or beat their goal at the end of the month get a really cool prize!  (Actually, it is a gold star from me, but the really cool prize is that you exercised for the month!)
