Yesterday was a strange eating day overall with the meeting and everything, but I think it went alright.
The meeting last night actually really helped me. This morning I loaded a food tracker onto my phone to help me out a but since I have been sucking as of late! Hope it helps. I'm starting to make plans for a trip in  November and would really like to have some more poundage off me by then!!

So... today

Breakfast: Cottage Cheese & Almonds
Lunch: Chili with low fat cheese (I even measured it!!)
Snack: Kashi bar (looking for snacks this am I found I REALLY need to get some. Suggestions??)
Dinner: Cottage Pie since I forgot to take something out of the freezer last night. Doh!

Plan to walk at lunch if it warms up like they say it will! Need to start the gym again too.

Oh... does anyone have Nancy's email? I don't have it here at work and Hubs isn't being very helpful getting it from my book at home!

Hi Sookie,

I wondered what happened.  We missed you, and some day I will get to meet you.  You will do better today!

I had a really good eating day yesterday.  I really stuck to my plan, and I even spent a couple of hours in the gym.  So I am thinking that the same thing will have to happen today!  I have to admit I definately felt better, and actually slept the whole night.

Breakfast:  Shake with 1 teaspoon peanut butter and banana
Lunch:  1 half chicken cordon bleu (it was awesome) and brussel sprouts
Dinner:  Stuffed smoked shoulder with veggies is on the menu tonight.  Probably not the best choice for me (high in sodium and fat, but is my hubby's favorite, so I am going to eat really well and should be okay)

I really did not have a snack yesterday, I was just not hungry, but I have cheese sticks, greek yogurt and an apple.

I have found that only having really good things in the house to eat is a blessing.  And so far I have talked myself out of the bad things I really don't need right now.

SO bummed that I could not make the meeting last night.   Hubby was sick (and he does not do sick well)  so   I went home after work.  Upset that I was not where I wanted to be and didn't eat correctly.  Actually didn't eat anything except 1 piece of assiago cheese toast. ( I need to have the boys eat the rest of the loaf.)

Today will be a better day

Breakfast - egg & Cheese wrap
snack - popcorn
lunch - sliced roast beef w/ sharp cheese
snack cheese stick (if needed)
dinner - well I forgot to put the pot roast in the crock pot this morning so not sure here yet.  Depends on what is in the freezer that will defrost quickly.

Hope you all have a great day !

Thank you both so much! I'm still struggling with 3 of those dang 6 pounds. It's going sooooo slowly. I have an appt on the 24th to see where I am. I'm just thinking, "fall off, fall off, fall off," but the weight isn't listening. . I just found out today that bedford counseling is doing a 12 week course on handling emotional junk. I'll be there...lol

Tracey,
I am having GBP with Dr Catania on 4/4.  I had my first appointment with him and he was wonderful!  So supportive and down to earth.

Good Luck!  I was doing VGS as well till I found out my insurance won't cover it!

Did well this week with the Birthday Party dancing (omg I have muscles in places I don't want)
then all the stairs at the games and things plus the gym I am doing better than I expected to this week.  So I am going with 225 minutes this week.  Still need to get better but getting to where I need to be.

Last week was a bust for me too. Been walking at lunch but didn't go to the gym once. Hopefully once things go back to more normal around the house Ill get there more. I'm sure the fact I can go when its still light out after work will help too!!
This week.... 150 min

Hi Laurie,

So eating has been good but I want to keep this going.  So....

Breakfast:  Shake with 1 teaspoon peanut butter and small banana
Snack:  2 Cheese sticks
Lunch:  Tuna melt on English Muffin
Snack:  Greek yogurt
Dinner:  I am making Chicken Cordon Bleu but will eat after the meeting toninght.

The good thing about not working is I can plan meals and really take the time to cook.  I plan on roasting a chicken for pot pie and chicken vegetable soup to freeze.  It is actually fun to cook when you are not rushed.

Hi All,

Well the pity party is over for me. I plan on hitting the gym at least 6 days this week. I might give myself a day off! I have been doing very good in the eating aspect, not so good in the exercise aspect, so needless to say I did not have much last week. I believe I only had about 100 minutes. So big changes! How about the rest of you...and feel free to jump back in and join us, and any of you newbies, come on in...it's fun!

Hi Sookie,  So sorry to hear about your friend.  MERSA is awful, and to not have any support is even worse.  You are a great friend, and yes, not taking care of yourself will not help!
