Hi Craig,

Did you recently have a fill?  Some of those symptons could be related to you being too tight.  It is very unusual to have a band slip, although not completely out of the question.  Let me know how you make out.

apparently mine takes several hours cause it finally updated and yesterday it hadn't even when I checked it several hours later.  I also have to remember that though I lost 45lbs mine is off by 10 cause I was already down by 10 before joining....

Thanks.

Topic: RE: Emotional Eating
I have not tried meditation, but maybe I should.  Although I have realized I am not emotional eating as much as bored eating.  Which means I need to get my butt in gear some more.   I think I am in the same boat with Bama about the brain not shutting down.

Eric, it takes time to change your brain, it is hard to realize the patterns of your eating and by doing this pre-surgery you are on your way to success.  That is a great step toward your goal.

Keep it up and keep heading in the right direction!

when you go to health tracker and you update the info you need to wait like 1 minute for it to save your data, after that it should update the info.  Mine takes up to 24 hours for the ticker to update sometimes.  I hope that helps.  Keep up the great work!

Topic: Band Slipped???
For the last 2 weeks 90% of what I eat or drink gets stuck in my band and comes right back up. I have reflux all day (which I didnt have pre-op) and significant pain around the area of my port. Has anyone else had these types of symptoms? If so, What was the outcome? I have a abdominal ct scan tomorrow and a barium swollow on Friday. The Dr says he wont have any results till at least monday of next week. Any info you can offer would be great. Thanks

I have tried meditation, but the person who was trying to teach me said that my brain just never shuts off, so it is very difficult for me!  He is right though.  I would start out fine, but then something would creep into my brain, and that was all she wrote!!!

But you do whatever is good for you.  There is a terrific book called Mindful Eating.  It is quite a read, and you will learn a lot from it.  I can give you the author's name later, but I just went on Amazon and put the title in, and it came up.  It has helped me, and I think it is time to give it another read!

Hi Eric,

So good to have you on board.  You will love it here.  I don't get a chance to go on that much anymore, and I truly miss it!  You have picked a great program with a wonderful track record.  Everyone is so helpful and understanding.  So if you have any questions, just ask.  Remember, there is no such thing as a silly question!
