Good Morning! I too will be having surgery with Dr. Freeza - I would like what ever information you have regarding fills.   Also can you inform me what I can expect with my pro-op appointments (my surgery is scheduled for July 5, 2007 and per-op is July 2, 2007).  Do I need to start a pre-op diet?  Are you still doing your fills with Dr. Freeza?  I rambing on - sorry I'm just being emtoinal since I got my call yesterday with my date. 

Hi, Moved to back ABQ after living in CO for 18 years.  Had surgery in Sep of '05.  Returned to CO a couple of times to surgeon's office for adjustments. Now on the web I see an outfit called Fill Centers USA.  They list a location in ABQ.  I've left a message with them since I just found it this evening.  Hope to get a call back tomorrow AM with some additional information.  Only interested in going if they have many fills under their belts.  Not sure if they're covered under my insurance (FED BCBS) either.  Still arguing that point with BCBS.  I was under another plan before becoming a FED and everything was 100% covered (Ya Hoo!!).  Fills were just an office visit. However, lap band just became covered under Federal plan this year.  But they're trying to tell me that adjustments are only covered if the surgery was performed this year.  I've made a further inquiry, the first person says NOTHING in the plan wording indicates that to be a condition so I'm still waiting. In any event, I'll post here when (or if)  the Fill Center USA people get back to me.  Good Luck to all Lap Banders out there. solman

Hello my name is Kelly and my sister and I would like to start a group here in Las Cruces to meet once a month. not to replace any support groups that you may attend like we do at Del Sol. But to just have a group that can meet here in Las Cruces to give support to each other. I am looking for a meeting place where we can get together once a month. For all of you that have cable tv and get The Learning Channel, Starting on Monday of next week they will begin broadcasting a new show called Big Medicine. I'm looking forward to this and I'm hoping to glean more information and help out of it also. It will be on Monday evening sometime. I look forward to watching it and seeing what goes on.
