Welcome! Man it has to be frustrating with the long wait, but it will be here before you know it. (At least that is what I am telling myself as the earliest I will have mine is next June) I have only been on for 3 or 4 days now but everyone here has been so sweet and helpful. I don't have any family in the area so getting some support is a big deal for me. Good luck and stick to it. Now I won't be the only one waiting forever. We should stay in touch and update eachother with our progress so can limit the "surprises" that come our way!

During the day you should be fine in light layers, but at night it has been getting a bit colder so I would suggest bringing a coat. I'm not sure when you will be visiting, but the temps for the week are highs in the mid to upper 60's and lows in the mid 40's.

Hi there. I am coming to Las Vegas tomorrow ( thurs ) and I am 2 yrs post op RNY. I have a restaurant card and I was wondering if anyone could suggest some places to eat that won't cost us a arm and a leg. We are going to be staying at the Golden Nugget downtown but I know that we will go to the strip too. I just don't want to spend $15 for a meal for me !!!! HELP !!!! It will be muchly appreciated. Yes, getting them to return phone calls is nearly impossible. I found the best thing to do is call right after the office closes for the day, and leave a voicemail (be as sweet as possible no matter how annoyed you are...you know, more flies with honey and such). You will be one of the first calls the following morning.
