When is their anniversary? You do know OH is having an event in Las Vegas on July 6,2007. Since your Mom has had Gastric Bypass Surgery too this would really be great for both of you. Check out events. I went to my first event last year and want to make one at least once a year. It was really Great and you meet so many of your peers. I am looking into going to this one and I want to spend an extra day to see the sights of Vegas. Sounds like something I can't even imagine. Good luck. See you lighter. Joanne

I'm in Reno, my husband and I both had RNY, although I had mine in Chicago.. I am also having a slight revision on 6/6 due to some stomach issues I am having, they are non-related to my RNY surgery.. Anyway who's your surgeon? Debby

Sorry i am just now responding to your question I always forget about this Nevada forum. Anyway, Dr. Teng has a support group the last Monday of each month as long as it is not a holiday like this month. So the next one is the last monday in june. It is at Mountain View hospital at 7pm. No fee to come and you do not need to be one of his patients. Hope to see you there. Linda

Since who accepts medicaid can change from month to month, the fastest way to find a surgeon is to go here: http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/professionals/showd ocs-all.php?State=NV and then just call each one near you to see who is currently accepting it. I sure wish there were an easier way. I did notice that in recent months medicaid patients saw:
