Topic: PLEASE PRAY FOR MY GRANDPA
Today is a bad day. I have been crying so much that It took me a long time to get signed onto the net. I need to turn to you all again, but now it is for my Grandpa.
My Grandpa Earl is my maturnal Grandfather. He is 84 years old. He and my Nana raised me part of my life and I am very close to them. They recently just left my town to make their last trip to Las Vegas. My Grandpa had fallen on hard cement and broke his hip I am told. He has to have surgery. He is at a hospital in Las Vegas called Mountain View Hospital. My Grandpa's PCP here in Chelan had told him a few months back that he has a leaking heart valve and if there were to do surgery that it my be too much for him and he may not make it. I am so very worried that I may lose my Grandpa. I don't even have money to go be with him. I fear I may not see him again. I am trying to stay positive. I just can't stop crying about him. He will have to stay in a convalescent hospital for 6-8 weeks. He is so far away from home. All I can do is pray my heart out and turn to everyone at OH for theirs prayers.
My Nana (grandmother) was stepping out of the elevator at the hospital and stubbed her bad toe bad enough that now she is in the emergency room there getting checked out.
PLEASE, PLEASE pray for them.
I hope many people are reading this. Please send to others you know, churches, anyone. We need your prayers.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Welcome to Las Vegas in August, you already know heat, you live in Texas so I don't have to tell you to drink plenty of water.
The malls here are wonderful, there is Fashion Show Mall on the strip and there is the Beals Outlet Mall on Las Vegas Blvd, south of the strip toward the airport. It is pretty good.
You can also go to the Forum Shopps at Cesars Palace just to see how the other half lives. LOL
Have a great time here, bring good walking shoes.
Hugs Shar

Topic: RE: visiting Vegas next week any tips?
Suga,
Bring light clothes and good shoes! It was 112 today, and we expect at least 104 to 106 later in the week. You will have a blast there is so much to see and do here. The shopping is the best, more than on the magnificent mile. Forum Shops at Cesars Palace is a must and you have to check out the Wynn Hotel as well as the Bellagio they are just stuning. The Venetian will take you to Italy you can even ride in a gondola with a singing gondolier. New York New York is fun and check out Paris with the exact replica of the Eifel Tower, which by the way has a resturant in it and an observation deck on top. Have a great visit and enjoy the shows, try to catch Danny Gans at the Mirage or Celine Dion at Cesars. The comedy shows are also great. We have Second City here at the Flamingo, almost as good as Chicago.
I was born in Chicago and love that city too.
Hugs Shar
Topic: RE: I NEED HELP(INFO ABOUT NEVADA)!!!
Hi Bro,
Henderson is a city outside of Las Vegas in which all surrounding cities are in Clark County. Here is a link to the Las Vegas Newspaper which would help with alot of your questions. Good luck on your move.

Topic: RE: New to Las Vegas & Looking for Support Meetings and meeting people.
I actually joined 24 hour fitness at a special rate from my work and never had the motivation to go by myself so I stopped it. It was when I was newly post op so its been a while. This year I bought a bike (which I havent done in years) and I just joined my local rec center gym, but I would usually use the indoor walking track when I went. I think if I go alone I get bored quickly so that is why it never lasts long for me.
