Hi Kristine, Hello and welcome to Vegas! I live in Henderson and will be 3 years post op in Sept. There is a support group in Vegas open to everyone and I believe they meet on the first Wed of every month. I am not able to attend because my daughter has school meetings and activities that also fall on the first Wednesday of every month. Hello Everyone: I just moved to Las Vegas in November from Minneapolis, I work in Radio in town and I have been looking for Support Groups in this area as I don't know many people in this town. I had my WLS 4 years ago but feel on need support to get back on track. I often find myself getting back into old habits. Can anyone tell me where the meetings are. Thanks in advance for your help. I am going with my bf in October of this yr.I too need some info and suggestions.We are going to see"O" and maybe the Phantom (sp).I don't know what else and staying probable at the MGM west wing.We want to find a small resturant to eat breakfast at.We are not big on crowds for breakfast.We are renting a car and can drive somewhere.We like to eat where the locals eat.Any suggestions? Not Denny's we don't like it there.I can't wait he has been there so many times with his x but not ever with me and I have never been there.I hope we have fun.Dee

Hello Nancy I will be having lap Band surgery in Reno sometime in Sept. or Oct. I have attended Western Bariatrics seminar. The surgical group has 4 highly trained surgeon performing lap band or bypass surgery. I know several people that have had surgery from them. They have been highly recomended to me. When you get to Reno you can attend a seminar to see what would be best for you bypass or lapband?? I will be in Reno Nevada september....I am downunder right now in New Zealand.... I want to get that skinny surgery asap as soon as I get there..... who do I see....who is the best....will someone give me some kind of info as of which surgery to have....the Lap or the bypass...or what....????? and a great Dr also.... cheers...kiwi/nanci
