Hi Claire,
Why were you in the hospital?!?!?
I am beyond out of the loop nowadays! I am glad to hear you are coming along though. Feel good!!!
Thanks for the well wishes for my son. He is a sweetheart.

Tavia:
Sounds as if you are quite busy w/ family/personal issues. Glad you stopped in to post!
I wish you well on your surgery to redo the Y connection and hope you do not need a reversal/takedown, but I suppose as a last resort your health is more important!
HUGS!
Take Care,
Jamie

Hi Jamie,
Thanks again for the samples, you are too sweet!
I mean it make sense, no? Take out the part that seems to be malfunctioning when every other attempt has been made to "make it work" properly. What a nightmare though. I have a feeling after this one I will be FINALLY able to move on. *sigh*
I really dont think a reversal is my answer and yes of course, that is the last resort.
Take care!

Kenny,
I dont think reversing anything on me is my answer. Recontructing is another story.
Trust me I have learned my lesson. If I ever come on here in the future, when I get better, and type how I ate crap please shoot me.
Thanks!

Hi Tavia,
Hope your baby is feeling better. I'm sure it's not fun.
First of all, congrats on gaining that 1.5 lbs. Every little bit helps.
Second, hopefully after you have this surgery (whichever one you all decide on) everything will begin to get back to normal. I will keep you in my prayers.
I don't post too much (more of a lurker) but I have kept up with your story a bit and have kept you in my thoughts and wish you well. I am always so inspired by your positive outlook. Because of that attictude, I just know you will recover 100%.
Hi Tavia,
My name is Maryellen and I live on Long Island. I am in the process of obtaining WLS. If all goes well with the insurance approval and I finish all the required doctor visits, I will have surgery on or around 7/31.
The reason I am writing to you is because I've been reading the posts the last few weeks. May people have been very concerned for your recovery.
I never knew exactly what went wrong. Did you become malnurished due to lack of vitamins? Can you not keep anything down?
I'm very concerned because although I have no problem whatsoever eating food, I do not like swallowing pills. (I NEVER TOOK VITAMINS, not even when I was pregnant.) I've been told how imperitive it is after WLS, but have yet to purchase the chewables.
I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'm truly conerned and for those of us that are somewhat new to this message board I'm sure is as curious as I am as to how you got to this possible reversal stage.
If you do get the surgery, I wish you the best of luck.
Sincerely,
Maryellen
