Kimberly, Hun I know you are feeling bad about this but please take comfort in knowing that things happen when they are meant to, hang in there, do what you have to do and keep moving forward. You will get there before you know it...... You can vent, yell, chat or just say hello anytime you want... ~Hugs~ Keep us posted on how it is moving along... Debra P

Hi Kimberly. I am sad that you are sad, but just keep your chin up. Six months seems like a long time, but it will pass, and then you will be on your way. Just keep up the diet/exercise, doing what you can. Don't stress so much.........if you could lose the weight by just dieting, you would not need the surgery, would you? I will be thinking of you. S

Hi Kimberly, I'm sorry to hear your frustrating news. Dieting is stressful, but try to think of it this way: You are putting to practice careful choice making and trying to incorporate more movement into your daily activity. These skills will seriously come into play post operatively and the more practice you have now, the more skilled you will be at this in your life post op. Stay away from your scale and just focus on making positive lifestyle changes. The 6 months will pass, and you'll be stronger for it. Hugs, Amy

Oh Kimberly, I am soooo sorry that you are being put through so much! I had no pre-op diet problems --but I did have to see a psychologist for several months as a prerequisite for my surgery--I thought the time would never pass --BUT IT DID! So hang in there --and please remember that you are going to have the rest of your life to enjoy--once you go through this waiting period. The Lord knows what you need and when you need it. Try to stick to the diet as best you can and try to exercise a little(walking is always helpful) I will pray for a breakthrough for you! Be Blessed! Marian S.C. 242.4/159.4./goal 125-130???
