Back and feeling great
Hey New York First I would like to thank everyone for theirkind words of encouragement. It is amazing how reading posts of so many people rooting you on can really make your day. Surgery was tough. Had some minor complications with excess bleeding during surgery. I ended up spending 5 days in the hospital. I have been home for a few days and feeling better each day. I have a follow up appointment with the surgeon tody and hopefully the drain will be removed.
I am excited to start this new life and look forward to sharing my expierences with you all.
Thanks again to SH for her support and to you all for being there
Hi BK,
Glad to see you are back on your feet! I just took a peek at your profile and I have to say I REALLY know where you are coming from with your kids.... I can't wait to have my surgery so I can actually partake in my sons life... My son is 11...I want to be able to run around with him and play baseball with him and not be afraid to go on field trips because I don't know if I will fit in seats!!! It is pretty sad when your husband who had a Heart transplant 10 months ago can play softball and you can't!
Congrats to you for taking the steps you needed to be an active part of your kids lives... You should be proud of yourself! Pretty soon you will be chasing your kids around and the ladies will be chasing YOU!!!
Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
