Karen - I developed a stricture 3 weeks post op. I couldn't keep anything down but saltine crackers. My doctor didn't diagnosis it till 3 weeks later, " because you must be getting some nutrtion in since I wasn't losing that much weight". Turns out I had a block so bad he couldn't see how I could eat anything. My advice to you is be persistant with your doctor, if you feel something is wrong.
