people do have trouble

I just want to say that for the ones who critisize you need to take a look at yourselves because unless you have walked in our shoes the people who have had complications you need to shut up cause it's very frustrating and hurtful. [email protected]

Kim. what is this post all about? One thing on this site is that we all have very much compassion for everyone. Of corse,anyone can have complications. We all feel terrible for that but to tell people to SHUT UP???

I didn't tell people to shut up in the way you meant it. I am not a browser so whoever said that is wrong. There have been people besides me who have been mistreated just because their weight loss surgery went wrong by your board and it's just wrong. I'm happy for the people who's surgeries went well but for us where it didn't don't need to be mistreated thanks Kim

Although I cant walk and your shoes and luckily havent had to, I for one would like to let you know that you have my support for any complications that you have went through. We are all faced with the decision that complications may arise and most all of us have taken the plunge anyway. I wish that there were no complications for anyone, but it happens and this site is here to support all who take this journey. I will "shut up" now!!

You don't ever have to shut up I didn't mean it that way. It's just really hard and I wouldn't wish what I have been through on anyone Kim

I dont know either. Maybe she does mean something else. Certainly none of us are ever mean when someone is in trouble. We are all so supportive.One thing we all know is that we care so much about each other. I wouldnt know what to do without all of you. The support is unreal on this site Richard, Cindy

Hi Kim, I don't know if I am reading into your post or not but I kind of get the feeling you mean people on the outside not those of us in this community. If so, I have fortunately only had a few negative comments but even those have been hurtful. I wish you the best. Julie

Kim, I'm so sorry you have experienced so many complications from WLS. Yes, others outside of the bariatric world don't understand! Should any complications occur - call your WLS surgeon. Are you out of the nursing home and back home yet? You will be in my thoughts and prayers. If I lived closer I would come and hold your hand. Together we would talk and pray for you to get better. You encountered complications that rarely other WLS patients have endured. Keep the faith honey. We do love you and will be here to support you. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Thank you Luann I really appreciate it because I don't have anyone except my online friends that have been through the same things. I didn't mean anything when I said shut up I am never like that but it's hard when your sick all the time and you have no one who believes in you. Kim
