tubal ligation during lapband surgery?

Recently I have been giving by birth control options extra thought. I have three children (13,11, and 8), and it isn't in my plans to have anymore. My husband agrees. For this reason, I have been thinking about a tubal ligation, and I was wondering if this is something that can be done during the lapband surgery, or not.

I am not sure about with the lap band but my OB/GYN offered to do my tubes during my RNY. He mentioned that he would just come in and turn the intruments around. Good luck, Shellie
